In the centre of Fie lies the Hotel Rose Wenzer, which is an ideal starting point for expeditions into the wild and romantic mountain scenery. Just above the village, the Alpe di Siusi reaches out, the largest mountain plateau in Europe, which is an excellent hiking and mountain biking area in the summer and turns into a charming ski resort in the winter.

Many attractive excursion and hiking destinations await you in the village of Fiè allo Sciliar and in the immediate surroundings. Up to five guided tours are offered daily during the summer months. The medieval walls were built in the 13th century and were fully renovated in the 20th century. Other scenic hiking destinations in the area include the mighty castle Trostburg and the ruins of Castle Hauenstein, where the famous medieval poet Oswald von Wolkenstein lived.
